About this extension

Pixel Proof helps you verify image authenticity by detecting AI-generated content, analyzing metadata, and identifying manipulation. All analysis runs locally in your browser - no data is ever sent to external servers.

  • AI/Synthetic Detection - Pattern analysis to identify AI-generated images (Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, etc.)
  • Error Level Analysis (ELA) - Detect edited/manipulated regions in photos
  • Metadata Extraction - View EXIF, XMP, IPTC data including camera info, GPS, and AI generation parameters
  • Trust Score - Combined confidence score based on multiple analysis factors
  • Reverse Image Search - Quick links to Google, Bing, TinEye, Yandex image search
  • Content Credentials (C2PA) - Verify authenticated content provenance
  • Export Reports - Save analysis as JSON, HTML, or PDF
  • Analysis History - Browse and search previous analyses

Privacy

Your privacy is guaranteed. Pixel Proof performs all image analysis locally using your browser's computing power. No images or data are uploaded to any server. The only network requests are for optional reverse image search (which opens in a new tab)
