It doesn't work on firefox nightly 55, maybe it should be rewritten as a web extension?
This is an essential tool for browsing poorly designed webpages or getting rid of malevolent popups.
I value this plugin for its simplicity.
My favorite add-on ever! I love getting rid of colored junk before I print. Saves time & ink. Remove distractions from webpage. Truly fantastic.
Great extension, something that would improve it though would be a keyboard shortcut to nuke things.
I'd love to be able to hold X or something and just click on things to nuke them. Would save lots of time over the context menu.
Does what it needs to, works well, but does it really need 4 items in the context menu?
- Remove everything else
- Remove selection
- Remove this object
- Undo last remove
Can we have some options to thin it out? Or a sub-menu for it?
They're also not located together in one group, the first two are near the top and the last two are at the bottom
ALSO: Update for e10?
HAHA, SCREW YOU FAKE PLAY BUTTONS THAT LEAD TO POP UPS!
I LOVE THIS THING! MUWAHAHAHA
I have used this for years. An essential add-on. I don't like browsing without it.
That said, can we have an update for multiprocess? FF49? e10?
I for many years used and has not yet been graded here. :)
I've been wanting something like this for many years! If you don't like something in a page, you can simply remove it using the right click menu!
The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't remember anything, so refreshing will undo your changes.
Since updating to FF40 nuke anything context menu (remove this object, remove everything else, undo last remove, remove selection) is visible all the time, even when no object has been removed. Is there any chance to fix this bug?
I've been using NA for a long time. I love it.
Great!. Good Addons. It is useful for developer like me.
Great Fix! The fix listed in the comment by Shinanai for Flashblock Add on, which references this Add on, Nuke Anything Enhanced, works great for the enormous problem which developed around 01-10-2015 regarding Flashblock Add on no longer working properly on YouTube videos.
This is a great add-on, and it's becoming more necessary as webpages are become more cluttered.
A suggestion for a new feature, please:
Remove the object that is clicked-on, when the Ctrl + Alt keys are also held down. (Or similar key combination.)
This would be quicker, and easier than repeatedly selecting from the context menu -- especially when removing multiple objects on a webpage.
Excellent add-on for hiding unwanted dialogs and such for printing or saving a clean web page to a file for archival purposes.
This add-on is incredibly useful to people with OCD like myself! Thanks!!!
Bug Fx 31: gContextMenu.isTextSelection is not a function. To fix replace "isTextSelection" with "isContentSelection" x3 in nukeanythingOverlay.js using a file archiver, like 7-zip.
Thanks for the tip. This has been fixed in the current version.
was able to remove the unwanted and clean nice printable list!!! P.S. if you use a pdf printer, you got a nice pdf file
Great for some websites. For others just not that great!
Allows you to remove basically any element from a site. Remove selected images, text, full screen cover screens (those that try to prevent you from viewing the content placed simply behind it)... and if you set Plugins to Click to Play (http://goo.gl/JmiiL7) you can remove select plugin elements then activate the elements of your choosing! Furthermore, if trying to load a long webpage and you only care for the items at a select portion of the page, highlight and remove de/select content while still allowing the rest of the page to load properly!
Eliminate whatever annoyance or distraction you desire on any web page. Very useful, practical in making the web just a little less intolerable regarding the things that are visually intrusive, dissonant with one easy click. I remember the day when 'Nuke This'' would make any change you made permanent. These days the change will endure only as long as the browser session lasts. Nevertheless, it hasn't lost a step nor its value as an indispensable tool in any web user's add-on repertoire.
Simple, and works perfectly.
Just to update from the post saying it works in v16... Seems to be working fine in FF v19.0.0.
Great Add-on. Works perfectly in Firefox 16.0.2.
Put you in control of what you see in your browser.
Great for removing clutter from a webpage you're reading.
The most useful addon for firefox I've found so far.
Stopped working with Firefox 16.0.1 but I've found out that you can do element removal via the "Inspect Element" option in the context menu. Not as simple as using this addon but better than nothing. I still miss "remove everything but selection"
