- Rated 4 out of 5by Art of Walls, 6 years agoGreat add on but Do you know how you can make it epic? four simple enhancements:
1- Add buttons for next ⏩ and previous ⏪ images. I mean buttons that the users can place in their toolbars if they want, not just buttons inside the pop up window of your main add on button. (you could even add a button for "first" ⏮) (a button for "last" ⏭ would imply scanning all the images in the series until your add on finds the finish one)
2- Add another button to generate a dynamic page containing all the pictures in a series. just imagine I am displaying in my browser image 9 of a series of 15. The dynamic page should be populated with images 1 to 15 (or 0 to 14). if there is no image 5, just jump it and search for image 4 so you can continue the series even if some loose images are missing. you can adjust how many images to jump before considering you have reached the end of the series. If the series is very long, you could limit the gallery to 255 images after the original one or something like that (then, if you started in image 1 and ended in image 256, then the user could use image 256 to generate a new gallery that starts in 256 and ends in 512 and so on). Also, if the images are too big in size (since they are not thumbnails but full size images), you could add a simple javascript button that reduces all images to fit the width of the window.
3-Add the functionality of your add on also in the context menu of images embedded in a webpage if they have a number in the name. This way, if the user is looking at a full size image in a gallery but this image is not isolated but embedded in a web page, the user does not need to use "view image" to isolate it in order for your add on to work on it.
4-Allow the next and previous buttons to act also in any URL with a series number. This way, the buttons would be useful not just for image series but also for paged webs so if you are in a forum thread like:
http://www.forum.com/showthread.php?t=12345&page=123 and you click the next button, you'll get to page 124 Or if you're in a Wordpress blog like http://www.mywordpressblog.com/page/104/ you could go to page 105. It would be as simple as analysing the URL and altering the rightmost number found in the URL.
There was an add on called Show Me More (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/show-me-more/) with the functionality of the dynamic page gallery I mentioned in #2 and the toolbar buttons in #1. I used it a lot but the author stopped development a couple of years ago and it is not compatible with Quantum. I think Images Quicky could be a great replacement for this long lost add on.Developer response

Unfortunately Webextensions does not allow multiple buttons, the only way at the moment is to build two separate addons...
