posted 7 months agoYes that is something I thought about I wonder what color to take from that little icon, and what would happen with the contrast because sometimes the color of the icon is exactly what is supposed to be the contrast color, the highlight,... - by Firefox user 14554501, a year agoRated 5 out of 5

Suggestion: Can you add an option that if the tab is supposed to be white (whether it is a tint or shade), the color of the active tab and toolbar reverts back to the theme currently being used in Firefox or a preset color defined in the settings? - by Sub Raizada, a year agoRated 5 out of 5

- by Firefox user 12766830, 2 years agoRated 4 out of 5Looks nice! There is a "bug" where if you reload the page the color is getting picked from the middle of the page.

- by Mellobob, 2 years agoRated 3 out of 5I do like this ... but I'm removing it since I can no longer differentiate between the active and other tabs.
Grabbed version 1.9. Still like it ... but ...
Going to the settings (tools->extensions) I have "selected tab line" and "background from sites" ticked.
Some sites now have a hilited tab, but others don't. One example is the add-on manager page ... all the tabs are plain white. The page to dl the extension has it's page-tab hilited, but there is no visible text.Developer response
posted 2 years agoHi Mellobob, the option to have highlighted toolbar and tab was only available in the options menu. I have made it default, so expect a highlight now, in the toolbar and also the active selected tab. Let me know if this is better. It will go into the version 1.9; thanks for helping the project. - by Firefox user 14021829, 2 years agoRated 5 out of 5
