- Rated 5 out of 5by vurrtical, a month agoI really enjoy the quality of life that this add-on provides as someone just starting to study Japanese. However, while it does work well and is informative, I have encountered a problem using it in Google Docs and a few other sites where I cannot scroll through a selection's entries as 10ten's pop-up remains static and does not scroll down along with the page I am on. This leaves me able to only read the first handful of entries even if there are more to choose using the dictionary copy function. I did see that there was a feature request on GitHub (#555) that asked about scrolling/stepping through entries and I would absolutely second that idea.
I really do appreciate the work you've put into this extension as it has immediately helped provide context to a lot of my reading and studying so far, all without needing to copy/paste and look things up through Jisho or other services. I'm eagerly waiting for what new features you have cooking up for us c:Developer response
posted 24 days agoThank you so much. That's very helpful feedback. I will certainly prioritize being able to scroll through the entries. Hopefully we can tackle that for the next release. Thank you again! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15226876, a month ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Raynhard, a month agoIncreases my learning speed by 100 times, I guess. I can finally read Japanese articles without spending minutes switching between Google Translate and my article while copy-pasting. 100% AWESOME 👍

I've used 10ten (and rikaichamp/rikaisama/rikaichan before it) for years and the current iteration is by far the best its ever been. love the addition of pitch accent markings, honestly if that was the only feature it'd still be super useful but that ontop of everything else makes it indispensable

- Rated 5 out of 5by ehmeh, a year agoThis app is indispensable to me, seriously, I love it so much. That's why I was shocked to find that since today, it no longer works in Google Docs.. This is quite a problem for me! Do you have any ideas how I could fix this? Yesterday it still worked fine.

posted a year agoUpdate: This should be fixed now in 1.4.3, at least until Google Docs changes again.
Thank you very much!
I'm sorry about the trouble with Google Docs. Google have been gradually switching to a new "canvas" mode where the text in Google Docs is not available to extensions to read.
I hope to add a feature to 10ten to force Google Docs to use the old mode. Hopefully that will be added in a week or two.
Until then, sometimes if you load the same document in a new tab, you will get the old mode and then 10ten will work again.
Sorry about the inconvenience! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14978452, a year agoGreat add-on. Thanks for adding the hold to show translation option for images.
