- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12974373, 22 days agoCan't do spell check anymore, needs Premium. But getting a lot of features, which may Improve the writing, but looked behind a paywall.
Now it only shows me, that I have done something wrong, but doesn't show me that.
For a non English Native, it helped me a year prior, but not anymore. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18549094, 2 months agoOver the past few months, Grammarly has stopped working properly across all the platforms I use, including Gmail. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, but the issues persist. What’s more frustrating is the complete lack of accountability once they’ve debited your account for the yearly subscription fee.
Getting real human support is almost impossible—you're just redirected to "try this" or peer-help forums, which offer no real solutions. It feels like once they've taken your payment, they’re no longer concerned about providing proper service.
Even when Grammarly was working, it had inconsistencies—if I copied and pasted text between programs, the corrections would often differ. For a service that’s supposed to ensure clarity, they really need to take more responsibility for their own performance. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16311006, 2 months agoJust flat does not work. Nothing shows up. Try it with Reddit, nothing. Try it with Reddit Private, Does not work.
- Rated 1 out of 5by xareon, 2 months agoI would rate this higher, but the constant nagging to upgrade to premium is a non-starter for me. I don't appreciate having my composition constantly interrupted by bad highlighting just to advertise your premium product. Fix your UI or suffer more negative reviews. The way you've designed your app is absolutely unprofessional.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Anonymous4628, 3 months agoTerrible. It always points out non-existent "advanced issues", requiring a paid subscription to fix, and constantly rips up my perfectly-good text.
Furthermore, the UI is terrible. The only thing it is good for is a spell checker, but we all have these built-in.
Do not recommend. - Rated 1 out of 5by RichardJT, 3 months agoDo you see all the sys info it wants and data it collects? Also, some reviews talk about constant advertising to go premium. No, i'll make do with AI Grammar Checker & Paraphraser – LanguageTool. And it's not as if I don't write well, it's just that now I let the it correct my errors.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17993944, 6 months agoToo much spam like "Auto-activation filters..." I didn't pay for that
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12683038, 6 months agoDoes not work. After signing into the website and my paid premium account, the add-on indicates that I am not signed in. I tried to get help from customer support but they couldn't fix it.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Pope, 6 months agoUsed to be good, but now is constantly advertising "premium" features which were standard. Using LanguageTool now
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/languagetool/ - Rated 1 out of 5by Alesya Huzik, 7 months agoUsed to like it, but with "premium suggestions" that can't be disabled it turned from helpful to insufferably annoying. Switching to LanguageTool, hope it'll be better. If not - I'll be better off without a grammar checker than with something that just doesn't like my writing style and won't shut up.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18111007, 7 months agoOnly a 1 star for now because if your using dark mode, the red line for misspelled words doesn't show up anymore. :(
To note I'm using the extension Dark Reader and FFs own Dark Mode. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18398932, 7 months ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18252931, 7 months agoworks, but much worse privacy than the mozilla's recommended languagetool addon (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/languagetool/)
- Rated 1 out of 5by Ristacean, 7 months agoPretty much all spellchecker extensions now suffer from this problem, but about half of the suggestions I get nowadays are not helpful and about one-quarter are simply wrong.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12547617, 9 months agoFix that garbage. The problems with sign in are just joke. Your excuse with conflict with certain adblock is also a joke as i do not use any on youtube as a premium user.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Nyxx, 9 months agoIts infuriating that they started forcing me to see a million gold lines all over my essays for 'premium suggestions'. It is distracting, the suggestions are stylistic and useless, and there is no way to disable them. It is disgusting how greedy and unhelpful it is. Best find a different extension if you're just looking for grammar and spelling corrections.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Ratteler, 10 months agoThe interface of this add on gets in the way more than it ever does any good.
Who on earth wants a little circle blocking the last letters of their search bar? This should ONLY be available threw the right click context menu like the way we have accessed additional features for decades.
Like a good special effect in a movies, you shouldn't know you even have an add on until you need it, and then it's access should be minimalist. Not an add to sell you coming to your web site.
Why would I EVER pay you if you are this annoying for free.
This app will only HELP you learn better English because it is SUCH a bad experience you will get better to avoid it.
Sadly... it still appears to be the best.
I perform an unnatural act for FOSS version. Or one that simply used google like enhanced spelling does on chrome. - Rated 1 out of 5by Nikki, a year agoIts great WHEN it works. Constantly signs me out or disappears entirely. Need a lot of work considering its cost.
