I still use Windows 10 on my main computer and I run many multiple desktops. Sometimes up to twelve.
With TSM active, every time I restarted Firefox, all of its (many, many) windows—which had been distributed across multiple desktops—would open on a single desktop, leaving me with several minutes of work to reorganize them into something coherent.
As well, browser windows that I'd long since closed were also opening, adding to the clutter.
Eventually this became too annoying and I started probing into the cause. Disabling TSM immediately made the issue go away so I left it disabled and started using Tab Stash, which I don't like as much but when I restart FF all the windows stay where I had them.
I'd go back to TSM in a second if I knew the multiple desktop issue had been sorted. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13568784, 4 months agoWorked great for years until after a recent update, it deleted all my saved sessions. On another device, not only are my saved sessions gone, but it now keeps saving every single browsing session on its own?

- Rated 5 out of 5by Emerald1219, 4 months agoJust restored 19 Sidebery tabs in perfect organization after an Alt F4 to the wrong windows! EXCELLENT extension for fixing the tab restoration issue with multiple browser windows open!
- Rated 1 out of 5by qweer, 4 months agoIt opens tabs slower than native Firefox session. And when I switched it off to try working without it, all the tabs except "New Tab"s disappeared. What is the use of "session manager" if it just loses your session?

- Rated 4 out of 5by Tianna, 5 months agoHas stopped saving sessions automatically; must do so manually. Only sometimes registers when a window is closed and saves then.
EDIT: deleting any re-uploaded sessions seems to allow the extension to automatically save again. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14068806, 5 months ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by tgelphman, 5 months agoA tad bit confusing to use at first. Once I got the hang of it it wasn't bad. What I don't like is I am unable to just save a single tab. It forces me to save all tabs in a session. Not what I want. When I find a specific page I want to save only I can't.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Thiet, 5 months agoWorked fine for years but suddenly stopped doing what it is supposed to. Opened FF and last session did not load. Go to load session manually and all saves have disappeared except for one from three months ago. Won't import files. Won't export files. Won't autosave. Manual save works, mostly, but consistently deletes all but last save. Developer obviously doesn't give a crap because this issue has been going on for a while and he/she hasn't responded to any of the many reports, yet can and will respond to random, non-extension breaking things.

Since few days it prevents Firefox from start. I can't even figure why. I had removed every old sessions, cleared cache and extension storage and reinstalled couple of times. Checked if there is any conflict with other add-ons, turned them all of and then on again, one by one - and every time I turn on Tab Session Manager browser stops work. Nothing helps. - Rated 2 out of 5by Mike McGranahan, 6 months agoWill randomly reset its shortcut keys even after you've removed them.

"Firefox has not been able to start since the June 4 update."
I have the exact same problem and in order to make firefox start normally with the extension enabled, i have to start a private browsing session which opens two windows, one with one tab in private browsing and a second normal one with all the tabs that the extension has saved. Otherwise the apllication is killed almost immediately after starting with the extension enabled. - Rated 5 out of 5by tuna, 6 months agoFirefox has not been able to start since the June 4 update.
Correctly, it starts once, but Firefox goes down without restoring tabs.
I have now disabled the add-on.
Please remove the cause as it is a great add-on that is very useful.
Or tell me how to deal with it. - Rated 5 out of 5by bryang2k3, 6 months agoThis review is for use on Firefox. I have tried different addons to save tab sessions and this one, Tab Session Manager is the only one that works 100% of the time. Thank you for this addon, saved my butt many times.
