- Rated 1 out of 5by ElPoonPoon, 2 days agoThe ad blocker has intrusive pop-ups just like the things it's designed to protect you from now.
They disguise them as "update" notifications but they are pushing updates every week and if you have the extension on multiple devices it will take over whatever tab you have open and show you that it's updated for the 5th time this month on every single device and conveniently also have an option to donate money.
The annoyance quickly builds up. After being interrupted and having to close a good 20-30 pop ups across all my devices a month, I'm done. - Rated 5 out of 5by Konstantin, 11 days ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Faust, 15 days agoIt’s quite ironic that an ad blocker designed to eliminate unwanted commercial spam ends up opening its own unwanted commercial spam. I understand the need to monetize, but opening a new tab to push a subscription offer feels intrusive. Most people are already overwhelmed with numerous subscriptions and don’t want to add another. This approach undermines the very purpose of using an ad blocker in the first place.
Rethink your marketing efforts, AdBlock. Do better. - Rated 1 out of 5by familycanidae, 16 days agoUse Ublock Origin. Adblock will open up a spam tab every single day asking you to pay money for their "Premium" service. I was using this app because I DIDN'T WANT popups, lmao.
They're also going to reply to this review stating that the basic app is available for free and that the pop-up tab can simply be closed. Hey Adblock, I have a better solution--how about you stop asking for handouts and stop spamming us with popups? :D "If you don't like the tab you can just close it" is the same as saying "Hey, we are going to try to punch you in the face every day, if you don't like that you can just try to dodge the punch." - Rated 5 out of 5by Ninetynine, 16 days ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12734305, 22 days agoThey promise "Surf the web without annoying ads!", they fail to deliver, it keep spanning you with own ads, moving features into premium and asking you for money. Better switch to ublockorigin or any clean fork

posted 24 days agoIt may be that YouTube is temporarily circumventing our blocks. I recommend trying workarounds that have been reported by other users: https://helpcenter.getadblock.com/hc/en-us/articles/9738509282451-I-m-seeing-ads-in-YouTube-videos — Kat C., AdBlock Support- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18535567, a month ago
