RequestOrbit Privacy Policy

RequestOrbit does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. It has no accounts, analytics, advertising, telemetry, cloud synchronization, or product-owned network endpoint.

Rules, preferences, and recovery snapshots are stored locally in browser extension storage. The extension does not automatically read or record request bodies, browsing history, cookies, authentication credentials, or incognito activity. URLs and request-header values that you enter, including credentials, are stored locally as part of your rules and included in exported backups. Backups are not encrypted; keep them private.

Permissions: storage saves rules and preferences; declarativeNetRequest applies user-authored rules; activeTab identifies the current site after you open the popup. Optional HTTP/HTTPS site access is requested only for the concrete origins needed when you enable a redirect or header rule.

Backup export writes a local JSON file. Import reads only a file you select. Neither operation sends data over the network.
