New in 2.8.0:
- Browser bookmarks as an extra tab (Options > Groups). Off by default; the browser asks for permission only when you switch it on, and you can revoke it again at any time.
- Tile shape: a new slider sets the corner rounding from square to circle.
- An "Undo" note appears after you delete a tile.
- Backup: choose whether screenshots are included; the size is shown for both options.
- Deleting all screenshots now explains how to remove just one.
- Backup reminder: only when you have no backup yet or changed several tiles since the last one. Never on a timer, and it can be switched off.
- New privacy and permissions overview in the options.

• A welcome window explains the most important features after the first installation.
• Large background images no longer delay the tiles: the tiles appear first, the image fades in.
  Big images are optimized automatically.

• ApexDial now also runs in Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, Chrome).
