The add-on does what it does: showing the unread mails. And if it would stayed with that, it would be a great add-on.
(I hope that last update bug will bi soon fixed - new tab search function, which can't be turned off).

We are pleased that we were able to convince with our services.

In the old version, there was a new tab search function which could be deactivated.
Unfortunately Mozilla Firefox does not support this possibility any more.
Please uninstall your MailCheck and reinstall it from here. Is the new tab search function still there?
