- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Dan, hace 9 días
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Masters, hace un mesThis Extension works *perfectly*... *AND* IT DOES MORE THAN ITS TITLE DESCRIBES. (In other words: *Do NOT sleep on this*!)
This Extension not only has the ability to duplicate Tabs, it has the (*key*) ability to *create a new Tab DIRECTLY NEXT TO THE TAB YOU'RE CURRENTLY ON (i.e.: your "parent" Tab (or "'Active' Tab"))*. This *IS* so key, because Firefox always opens Tabs at the end of your current ["Active"] *WINDOW* (*not* your Active Tab). Because of this; if you have numerous Tabs open, or – most-crucially – *ARE USING TAB GROUPS* and want to open a Tab *within the same Tab Group*, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO [without this Extension] – and will have any new Tabs appear, potentially, *waaaaaaaaaaaaay* at the end of your Tab Structure/Tree; at the end of your Active Window; which you will, then, need to re-organize... *FOR EVERY NEW TAB YOU MAKE*. (This is unless you use Firefox' Mouse Right-Click Context Menu entry to create a new Tab next to your Active Tab... *also* every time (...a very cumbersome process...).)

I have been using this Extension for many years [over 7, I believe], and it has been flawless for as long as I’ve used it. I have, also, been using it all of that time with Firefox, and – being a platform/Internet Browsers that is *a MICRO-fraction* the size of that of Chrome and other, similar Browsers; making it *easily* neglected [sadly] – it has been flawless, just the same, the entire time, too.
I *highly* recommend this Extension to anyone out there using Firefox (and other Browers, too, truly – but especially Firefox due to what it stands for [Internet and user freedom], and due to how *grossly* under-appreciated), as it expands Firefox’ Feature-set in a way that is natural, customizeable, and *HIGHLY-BENEFICIAL*. Using this will transform the way you use Firefox [and any other supported Browser, of course – as said before], and will make things VASTLY-more easy and fluid for you to use [in your day-to-day activities with it]. (It will make you wonder why it isn’t incorporated into Firefox, *officially* [/natively], at this point! [It sure did that for me... *over 7 YEARS ago*.])
[Thank you, truly, Stefan Sundin. [Your work on this is – and has been – invaluable (as well as wonderful).]]

jo se napisał hace un mesI'm glad you like it. The first version came out on October 17, 2016, so just over 9 years ago. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Kerman, hace un mes
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót frost, hace 2 mesesAbsolutely beautiful, thank you so much. This was the deciding factor for me to switch to firefox all the way. It's really odd how is this not native functionality.
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Attacktive, hace 5 mesesThank you so much. I don't need to 'right click the tab and hit D' anymore. 🤓

- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót uneliasmarsu, hace 2 añosDoesn't work on Manjaro KDE with FF 122.0.1
Edit: Works now after reassigning the shortcut because alt+shift+d was already in use by another extension (Dark Reader). Would be five stars if it was possible to toggle whether to switch to the duplicated tab.
Edit2: FIVE STARS AND A SEAL OF APPROVAL!
(There's a bug where the "Open new tabs in the background" feature doesn't seem to work with "New tab to the right" no matter what shortcut I try to assign to it)Wótegrono wuwijarja
jo se napisał hace 2 añosHi uneliasmarsu. In the addon preferences there is a checkbox to control whether or not to put the new tabs in the background. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót boghead, hace 2 años
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót tipar, hace 2 añosNice and fast I used ctrl+shift+v. almost every single shortcut is already taken so youhave to be creative.

If you need ideas for keybinds, I suggest Alt-T to duplicate tab, Alt-N to pop tab to a new window.
To me the 'Pop tabs to a new window' is as important, if not more important than the 'Duplicate tab' shortcut, so the name of the extension is unfortunately a bit misleading.. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Rudolf_Snail, hace 3 añosIt works for what I wanted it to — duplicating tabs with a hotkey — so I am completely satisfied. And, on top of that, it also supports a hotkey for another great feature: new tab to the right. This extension is amazing, I love it.
