This is a very cool translator, but there is no dark theme =(

Adding the "DeepL" add-on to the Firefox sidebar uyuki deficiencies: 1) "select all - copy - paste - clear" switching keys are missing 2) "OK" button translation language selection, double-clicking to change translations is not possible 3) Dark mode selection is not available... IMPORTANT DEFICIENCIES ... Please add these as they would be perfect. Thank you.

The best translator I've ever used. There are many, of course, and surely one will not meet the needs of every person and every situation. But for a language-learner like me, immersed in a new culture, trying to improve (and sometimes just get by), it's perfect: fast, accurate, reliable.

Looking good, but for the love of god give us dark mode ASAP

Very limited on what it can do without a paid account, intrusive ui elements. Not worth keeping... :(

On Firefox, this extension consumes so much memory

Popup kommt nicht immer und es gibt keine Option einzustellen ob der Button links oder rechts ist. In KI-Chats ist rechts unten immer der Senden/Stop button, ich kann also nicht senden bzw. die generierung stoppen wenn deepL da ist. Und DeepL ist genauso wie alle KI modelle und nutzt unnötig oft "em dashes" das hier: "—".
The extention does often not work, nothing happens when you right click, also does the popup not always appear.

The extension does not save the selected language preferences, and when copying and pasting from the translation pane, all line breaks in the translated text are lost.

For this extension to be useful DeepL really needs to allow full webpage translations for free or for a cheaper tier. Right now its close to $100/yr for access to full website translations. For now all you can do is select sections of text and translate. The translation process is slower than other options that are available. It does really well with longer form text but can struggle with shorter texts, names, titles, idioms, etc.

Overall from the perspective of someone who is only interested in translating websites for personal web browsing this extension does not provide much functionality beyond the translation website.

It could be good, but it is sooo freaking stupid. You can't turn off write mode. It is not even working for my language, but I just can't turn off.

All I want is 1 small icon when I select a word or text to TRANSLATE, nothing else, but it has to be 3 icons, a Read a Write and a Turn OFF button.
It doesnt matter if I turn off Write icon in settings, it still shows up, and not even an option to turn off the "turn off" button. WHY?

It's great! just gets the job done.

Overall, it works great. Sometimes it just cannot load a translation, which is annoying, but it's not common. What I really hate, is that it still doesn't support dark theme! Please add dark theme...

Я очень привык к этому аддону. Иногда случаются проблемы с соединением. Но я думаю это виноват провайдер или впн. И когда он перестает работать это настоящее разочарование.
