our book in a little firefox world; simple wonderful
This is great, thank you!!
It seems to do a decent job, but 2 caveats so far.
It puts a "catalog" icon to the left of the "Home" icon, and you cannot change it in any way. 2 Problems:
1) This disabled the downloads access (The arrow is gone)
2)The "hotspot" is active even in the full screen mode when the icon is invisible. If you mouse over the hotspot, the screen jumps all over the place.
They're deal breakers for me, but many of you may not care.
I can't find where to change interface language to English
I've been looking for a reader that allowed user choice of background and text colors. I could not find that feature in other readers, such as Adobe Digital Editions and Sumatra PDF. But this one does it! Now I can read in the middle of the night and not wake up my dear wife.
I cannot comment further, but just had to add my thanks for this particular feature.
Easy to use and Simple
Really handy add on, thank you :)
but add other files too (fb2, rtf, txt), pleeease =)
It definitely does the most basic function. I would definitely like to see improvement on it though such as night-time reading (allowing black bg, white text for easier reading), page numbers included, and perhaps a mobile app it syncs with so that way if I get ahead on my phone, the browser version will not be behind when I switch devices.
Absolutely awesome. Should be standard equipment on FireFox.
i really like this addon, very simple and does its job well. thanks for it. however i want to make small suggestions. firstly, (in 2-page view) i would like to use mouse wheel to go through pages, it would be helpful. and similarly instead of "del" to open index, can you put a button for mouse. also very minor issue but when a book is open and you click another book, it opens over existing one, a new tab would be better.
Very convinient software!
Very useful... Would be really nice to have search though.
The only epub reader I use. Works well on FF 24
This is a nice tool!
But I want function to move to the last page on fixed layout contents.
I hope it become more useful ,and more marvelous.
I reviewed an older version of this add-on a while back. This add-on is pretty handy. If I click on an epub link I don't have to deal with downloading it to a specific folder since it is automatically saved to the e-pub catalog. You can always downland the file from the catalog to any folder you wish at some more convenient time. There is a bookmark feature that is useful. Paging is smooth..Unfortunately the problems I noticed before still persist. They are: 1) Tiny progress bar that is easy to miss altogether. 2) No page numbers. Page numbers would be a much better way to mark one's progress than the progress bar. 3) When you click the trash can icon it deletes the file without asking you to confirm the deletion. Since the icon is right next to the "save copy" icon, it is easy to make a mistake and click the wrong icon. This has happened to me a few times, and I have had to look on the web for a new copy of the deleted file. A simple "are you sure" prompt would be nice. Overall, a pretty good add-on, but its flaws have relegated it to its status as my secondary epub reader.
O melhor leitor de epub que já encontrei e a vantagem de salvar como pdf pelo add-on do Acrobat para Firefox.
This is an amazingly thorough and feature-rich ePub reader--all right inside our beloved Firefox. No need to install some bloated resource-hogging separate application like Adobe Digital Editions. It respects the Digital Rights Management status of the ePub. It even creates an ePub-Catalog where you can see the books you've viewed, complete with Author, Title, Date Added and a drop-down menu to go instantly to the ePubReaders eBook Shop and other ebook sources online. Lets you set bookmarks in the eBook, change font size, navigate Table of Contents in sidebar, save the ePub locally, configure third-party ePub plugins ... The user manual seems to be extensive, well-organized and well-written, with lots of helpful screen shots. Highly recommended.
Great addon. Thanks
If possible i wish it had a feature to see all pages in one page. Read the book only pressing space. it will make reading more easier....
While this plugin comes in handy for casual epub viewing it seems to be lacking in full epub feature support such as css page breaks which is a feature I'm using in an epub I'm working on. While it will page break for separate files (usually separate chapters in most epub files) it won't honor page breaks called by the style sheet within the same file. Other then that this plugin can be useful if you're not picky about the layout of the epub you are reading.
This is brilliant. I use it all the time. Would definitely recommend.
Very useful addon ever :D
Thanks mate!!! It works fine for me up to now!!!
