Uses Firefox's native browser.tabs.discard() API to put either current tab OR all tabs in current window to sleep.

Then switch focus to about:newtab if already present somewhere in the current window. If not, create and switch.

Tabs are put to sleep manually, no automations. This was my main gripe with rNeomy/auto-tab-discard.

Use the default Alt+q to put current tab to sleep, Alt+Shift+q to put all tabs in current window to sleep.

Modify the default keybinds in about:addons > Click gear icon > Manage extension shortcuts.

Permissions Used:

1. tabs (Access browser tabs) to use the browser.tabs API to create new tab, switch to existing new tab and discard/sleep tabs.
2. <all_urls> (Access your data for all websites) only to modify the tab title to add "💤" emoji next to favicon for each sleeping tab.
