Yank is a keyboard-first clipboard extension for developers and power users who copy information all day. It reduces copy/paste friction by letting you copy, transform, and reuse page content quickly without leaving the tab.

What each feature does: ( Alt+m = help menu extension features )

• Copy Current Page URL
  Copies the URL of the active tab instantly to your clipboard.
• Auto-Copy on Selection
  When Auto-Copy is enabled, selecting text (mouse or keyboard) copies it automatically.
  Optional behaviors include plain-text output, append mode (build one combined clipboard), source tagging, and per-site
  controls.
• JSON Tools
  Choose one JSON mode at a time:
  • Pretty Print: Converts minified/raw JSON into readable, indented JSON when copied.
  • Path Copy: In decorated JSON blocks, click a key to copy its full path (example: response.data.user.roles[0]).
  • Markdown Table: Converts a JSON array of objects into a Markdown table for docs/PRs/notes.
• Clean Code Block Copy
  Copies clean code from selection/focus/hover/nearby code blocks, reducing extra UI noise and making pasted code easier to
  use.
• Copy as Fetch / Copy as cURL
  Transforms detected request text into runnable fetch(...) or curl ... snippets for debugging, testing, or sharing API
  calls.
• Help Menu + Custom Keybinds
  Built-in help panel and fully configurable shortcuts from Options, with duplicate-keybind guards.

Privacy and behavior:

• Runs locally in the browser.
• No account required.
• No telemetry/analytics.
• No external API calls for feature processing.
• Settings are stored locally in extension storage.
