Tab Atlas od Matteo

Tab Atlas gives Firefox a fast visual overview of your open tabs. Open it from the toolbar button or keyboard shortcut, then choose a tab from an animated thumbnail grid.

Highlights:

• Animated transitions when opening the overview and returning to a tab.
• View tabs in the current Firefox window or across all accessible windows.
• Search tab titles and addresses instantly.
• Adjustable thumbnail size, remembered locally.
• Click a thumbnail to switch tabs; hover or middle-click to close one.

Tab Atlas does not move or regroup tabs. Selecting a tab in another window focuses that window. Private and regular browsing windows remain separate.

Privacy:

Tab Atlas does not collect, upload or sell browsing data. Tab titles, addresses and screenshots are used only to build the local overview and remain in extension memory. No browsing information is sent to a server. The only persistent preference is the chosen thumbnail size.

Important limitations:

The overview is an extension tab rather than a replacement for Firefox’s native tab strip. Sleeping tabs may show a placeholder until opened. Firefox internal pages, other extension pages and some protected pages cannot be captured by Firefox’s screenshot API. Firefox 142 or later is required.
