Superanto gamifies your browsing to help you practise German.

On any page or website that contains German words, Superanto turns a few nouns into a quick game question: der, die or das? Get it right and the page's own text comes back. Get it wrong and you try again, and Superanto shows you the rule behind the article, where there is one.

• Works on any page or website with German words: news, Wikipedia, shops, even menus.
• Spaced repetition: words you miss come back sooner, and words you know come back later.
• Only a few words per page, sized to how much you have answered lately. It never takes over the page.
• Pause it from the toolbar. While it is paused, every page is exactly as its author made it.
• A progress page shows your study history.

Privacy: Superanto stores your learning progress — which words you have answered and when — in your browser's local extension storage. Your settings (on/off, level, game, sound) use your browser's own settings sync, so they follow your browser account. Nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party: the extension makes no network requests of its own and contains no analytics, no telemetry and no tracking. It requests access to all sites because it cannot know in advance which page you will read German on; page text is used on the page and is not stored or transmitted. It never records which pages you visit, and it does not request access to your browsing history.

Superanto does not check the grammar of the pages it runs on.
