O tomto rozšíření
State Cartographer is a local workflow-observation instrument for designers, developers, testers, and accessibility specialists. Recording begins only when the user presses Begin trace in the toolbar popup on a regular web page. The user then follows a workflow naturally and ends the trace from the same popup.
The recorder stores generic interaction categories such as activate, change, and submit. Each before-and-after state is represented by a normalized route pattern and coarse structural counts for landmarks such as main regions, navigation, forms, dialogs, tables, headings, buttons, and inputs. Dynamic numeric and long hexadecimal route identifiers are replaced with placeholders. The recorder deliberately does not save form values, page text, screenshots, keystrokes, cookies, or network traffic.
The map archive groups matching fingerprints into states and draws their transitions. It identifies states with no observed departure, repeated arrivals, and actions that returned to the same structural state. Users can select a state, inspect its structural signature, and write a local expected-outcome note. Every map shows the capture contract beside the trace. Exports are available as SVG, sanitized JSON, or Markdown audit notes.
All processing and storage occur inside Firefox. There is no server, account, analytics, advertising, remote code, or network request. A fictional field sample is included so the interface can be explored without recording a website.
