SkipStream does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. All credentials you enter are stored locally on your device using browser.storage.local and are never transmitted to the extension developer.

What leaves your browser (optional features only)

• IMDb ID + season + episode number → sent to IntroDB (introdb.app) to fetch skip segment timestamps
• TMDB show ID → sent to TMDB (themoviedb.org) to convert to an IMDb ID
• Show title → sent to OMDB (omdbapi.com) as a last-resort fallback for show detection
• Derived anonymous ID + URL-based media ID + playback position + site hostname → sent to your own Supabase project (only if you configure Supabase credentials)

None of these transmissions happen unless you have configured the relevant service. Nothing is sent to the extension developer.

Your anonymous sync ID

If you configure Supabase, your user ID is a one-way SHA-256 hash of "skipstream:uid:" + your anon key. It cannot be reversed to identify you personally.

What SkipStream never does

• Does not collect browsing history
• Does not contain advertising or tracking code
• Does not use cookies
• Does not send data to the extension developer or any analytics service
