Screen Recorder Lite od Alanas

Most screen recorder extensions want an account, cap the free tier at 5 minutes, or upload your video to their cloud. This one does not.

What it does:
Screen Recorder Lite records your screen, a window, or a single tab. It saves the file straight to your Downloads folder as a WebM. That is the whole product.

If you want trimming, editing, GIF export, or annotations, use Screenity. Screen Recorder Lite is the lighter alternative for people who just need a file on disk.

Features:
- Record a full screen, a single window, or a single browser tab. Firefox's built in picker handles the choice.
- Optional microphone toggle for voiceover.
- No time limit. Record as long as your disk has room.
- No watermark on the video.
- No account, no sign in, no cloud upload. The file never leaves your machine.
- WebM output. Plays in Firefox, Chrome, VLC, and most editors.
