Protected Tabs od Luis

Protected Tabs lets you protect a selected Firefox tab from casual interaction without closing or discarding it.

When you protect a tab, the extension switches away from it, prevents Firefox from automatically discarding it, and hides it from the normal tab strip. Protected tabs can be revealed through the extension after entering the PIN or passphrase you configured.

This is useful for background audio, dashboards, timers, web apps, and other tabs that should continue running without being casually changed.

Protected Tabs does not inject scripts into webpages, request host permissions, collect browsing data, or transmit user data.

Important: Protected Tabs is intended to prevent casual interaction on a shared Firefox profile. It is not a security boundary against someone who can disable or uninstall extensions, control the Firefox profile, or control the computer.
