• Context/memory data
• Settings

is stored locally in your browser using browser storage APIs.

3. Data Usage

Your data is used only to:

• Improve AI prompt quality
• Apply selected roles and settings
• Enhance user experience

No data is ever:

• Sold
• Shared
• Transmitted externally

4. Permissions Usage

PromptSync requests minimal permissions:

• storage → to save your settings locally
• activeTab → to interact with supported AI websites
• scripting (if used) → to inject functionality into pages

These permissions are used strictly for core functionality.

5. Third-Party Services

PromptSync does NOT use any third-party analytics, tracking tools, or external APIs.

6. Claude Token Counter Feature

PromptSync includes a lightweight token counter specifically for Claude (claude.ai).

• This feature operates entirely locally
• It does not collect or transmit any user input
• It is isolated from other extension components to prevent interference

7. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it.
Removing the extension will delete all stored data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected with a new "Last Updated" date.
