promptShield (browser extension) - privacy policy

This extension collects nothing.

It declares a single permission, "storage", used for exactly one value: a boolean
flag recording that the one-time welcome panel has already been shown. That value
never leaves your machine and is never transmitted.

The extension declares no host permissions and injects no content scripts, so it
has no technical means to read, collect, or transmit your browsing activity, page
content, or documents.

The extension's only function is to open the promptShield web app
(https://app.promptshield.ca) in a browser window. That web app processes
documents entirely inside your browser: your files are never uploaded and never
reach a server. It is a separate product covered by the full promptShield privacy
policy at https://promptshield.ca/privacy.
