onBookmarks collects only the data needed to provide the bookmarking service: your account details (email, name), the bookmarks you choose to save (URL, title, description, tags, collections), and — only if you enable the optional browser-bookmark sync — your browser bookmarks. Data is transmitted exclusively to our own API (api.onbookmarks.com) over HTTPS and is never sold or shared with third parties. Bookmarks you mark as encrypted are encrypted in your browser with AES-GCM before transmission; we cannot read them. Your session token is stored locally in your browser profile. No browsing history is collected; browser-internal and local URLs are never transmitted. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.
