The short version: Match2Cal does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Ever. The bookmarklet and browser extension run entirely in your browser and send data nowhere except to match2cal.com to display your calendar options.
WHAT MATCH2CAL IS

Match2Cal is a free tool — available as a browser bookmarklet and browser extension — that reads match information from PractiScore.com pages you are already viewing and helps you add those matches to your personal calendar.
DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

Match2Cal does not collect, log, store, or transmit any of the following:
Your name, email address, or any account credentials. Your location or device information. Your browsing history or any pages you visit. Match data, squad information, or shooter names read from PractiScore pages. Any analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics whatsoever.
HOW THE BOOKMARKLET WORKS

The bookmarklet is a snippet of JavaScript that runs entirely inside your browser on the PractiScore page you are viewing. It reads match details from that page's HTML, encodes them into URL parameters, and redirects your browser tab to match2cal.com.
No data is sent to any server operated by Match2Cal or USA Carry. The URL parameters pass through your browser only and are used solely to pre-fill the calendar options page you see.
HOW THE BROWSER EXTENSION WORKS

The Match2Cal browser extension works identically to the bookmarklet. When you click the toolbar button on a PractiScore page, a content script reads match data from the page DOM and redirects your browser to match2cal.com with the match details encoded in the URL.
The extension requests only the permissions necessary to do this: activeTab (to read the current tab), scripting (to inject the content script when you click the button), and host permissions for practiscore.com (to fetch the match registration page when you are viewing your personal shooter page). No other permissions are requested or used.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

When you choose to add a match to Google Calendar, your browser navigates to Google's calendar service with the match details as URL parameters. This interaction is between you and Google and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
When you download an ICS file, that file is generated entirely in your browser and saved locally to your device. No data leaves your browser.
Match2Cal does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics services, or any third-party scripts.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Match2Cal does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we ever change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date at the top. Given that we collect no data, we do not anticipate meaningful changes.
