Keyword Lantern does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data.

What the extension stores: your keyword lists and settings, only in your browser's extension storage (storage.local). They never leave your device and are not synced. There is no account, no identifier and no usage history.

What the extension reads: the text of a web page, only to highlight your keywords and count them, and only inside your browser. It does this only after you click the extension's icon or press its keyboard shortcut on that page, or, if you turn on automatic highlighting, on the sites you chose. Page content is never stored or sent anywhere.

Network and third parties: the extension makes no network requests (no analytics, tracking, advertising, affiliate links or remote code) and shares no data with third parties.

Your control: you can export, import and delete your lists at any time. Uninstalling the extension removes all data it stored.
