Privacy Policy — Human Intelligence Google Docs Certifier

This privacy policy describes how the "Human Intelligence — Google Docs Certifier" browser extension ("the extension") handles your data.

What the extension does

The extension certifies human authorship of a Google Doc by analyzing the document's revision history. The analysis runs in your own logged-in Google session, in your browser.

Data we access and why

• Google Docs revision data for a document you choose to certify: the document's title and the structure of its revision history — the positions, lengths, and timing of edits — plus a content fingerprint. The document's text is redacted to lengths inside your browser before anything is sent (the prose itself never leaves your device); the fingerprint is computed locally and the text is then discarded. This is read within your existing Google session (the extension uses no Google OAuth scopes and is never granted access to your Google account) and the redacted result is sent to Human Intelligence solely to produce the certification.
• Your Human Intelligence account identity: you sign in to Human Intelligence (via its hosted login) so the certification can be attached to your creator profile. A session token is stored locally in the browser to keep you signed in.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell or rent your data.
• We do not transfer your data to third parties except as needed to provide the certification service ( Human Intelligence's own backend).
• We do not access any Google Docs other than the one you explicitly certify.
• We do not request or use any Google OAuth permissions.

Data retention

Revision data submitted for a certification is processed and stored by Human Intelligence as part of your certification record. See Human Intelligence's main privacy policy for retention details. The locally stored session token can be cleared by signing out or removing the extension.
