In 2026 a popular color picker with 400,000+ users was caught shipping encrypted tracking code that exfiltrated the URLs you visited. A color picker has no business talking to the internet — so we built one that physically can't.

HOW IT WORKS
Click "Pick a color", then click any pixel on any page. HuePick grabs the color and shows it as HEX, RGB and HSL — click any value to copy (HEX auto-copies).

YOUR PALETTE, ALWAYS AT HAND
Every pick lands in your palette: the last 30 colors as a swatch grid. Click any swatch to copy it. One click clears everything.

FIREFOX GETS A MAGNIFIER LOUPE
On Firefox, where the browser has no built-in eyedropper, HuePick shows a full-page overlay with a magnifier loupe and live HEX readout. Click to pick, right-click or Esc to cancel.

PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE, NOT BY PROMISE
- Zero network requests. The extension never contacts any server.
- Zero host permissions. It cannot read any website until the moment you click "Pick a color".
- Zero telemetry, analytics, SDKs or third-party code.
- Your palette history lives in your browser's local storage only. No accounts, no sync, no cloud.
