What it does
- Your topics appear as buttons at the top of YouTube. Your child picks a topic and sees only approved videos.
- Videos that don't match an approved topic or channel are blocked, including videos opened from links on other sites.
- Shorts, the home feed, recommendations and the sidebar are hidden.
- Autoplay and end-of-video suggestions are turned off.
- Parent pause: enter your PIN (toolbar button or Ctrl+Shift+U) to turn filtering off for 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours or until you turn it back on.
- Settings are protected by a password.

- Free: 5 topics.
- New installs get unlimited topics free for 30 days, then 5 topics unless you upgrade.
- Pro (with the CtrlKid desktop app): unlimited topics and channels.
- The free version shows a small "CtrlKid Pro" message after a video ends.

Privacy
Your settings stay on this computer, and nothing is sent to CtrlKid. The optional "Sync with desktop app" setting connects only to the CtrlKid desktop app on the same computer.
