Clean Reload od ゆろち

A one-click extension that removes Service Worker registrations and starts clearing the HTTP cache while reloading the page with the cache bypassed.
Handy for web development and debugging, where you need to bypass stale cached files and see the latest state.

Click the toolbar icon to wait for Service Worker registration removal, start clearing the HTTP cache, and reload the page while bypassing the cache.
It removes even the Service Worker registration that a normal hard reload (Ctrl+Shift+R) leaves behind.

• Clean-reload all tabs at once
  Right-click the toolbar icon and choose "全タブをクリーンリロード" (clean-reload all tabs) to clear the cache and reload every open tab.
• Force all background tabs to sleep
  Right-click the toolbar icon and choose the background-tab sleep command to release inactive tabs from memory. Tabs remain open and reload automatically when selected. The active tab in each window is excluded.
• Lightweight & minimal permissions
  No background data collection and no external communication of any kind.

■ How to use
1. Install the add-on
2. On the page you want to reload, click the toolbar icon (single tab)
3. To reload every tab at once, right-click the icon and choose "全タブをクリーンリロード" (clean-reload all tabs)
4. To release background tabs from memory, right-click the icon and choose the background-tab sleep command

■ Behavior on Firefox (important)
Firefox's browsingData API differs from Chrome's, so this extension behaves as follows on Firefox:

• Service Worker registration: removed per the target tab's hostname (origin-scoped precise removal is not supported by Firefox, so it falls back to hostname scope).
• CacheStorage (DOM Cache API): Firefox's browsingData API cannot delete it, so saved CacheStorage data remains.
• HTTP cache: because Firefox's removeCache API cannot be scoped to a specific origin, clicking clears Firefox's entire HTTP cache (the Chrome edition clears only the current origin).

After waiting for Service Worker registration removal, the page reloads while bypassing the HTTP cache, without waiting for HTTP cache deletion to finish. Reloading continues even if deletion fails. Since the click is an explicit user action, the behavior above is within the intended reset.

■ Privacy
Everything runs locally in the browser; there is no communication with external servers and no collection of personal data. No remote code is loaded. See docs/privacy-policy.en.md for details.
