   The extension operates entirely locally within your browser instance (localhost). It enhances performance on ChatGPT by:

Identifying list items (messages) in the Document Object Model (DOM).

Temporarily replacing off-screen messages with lightweight placeholders (virtualization).

Restoring original content automatically when you scroll.

All logic runs on your device. No data leaves your browser.

1. Permissions Explanation
   The extension requests the minimum permissions necessary for functionality:

storage: Used strictly to save your local preferences (e.g., Extension Enabled/Disabled, Debug Mode). These settings are stored locally in your browser and are not synced to us.

activeTab: Used to allow the extension popup to communicate with the script running on the current tab.

Host Permissions (https://chat.openai.com/, https://chatgpt.com/): Required to inject the virtualization script into the specific webpage to modify the DOM for performance. We do not access data on any other websites.
