Apply Filler od DacMon

Apply Filler fills in job applications for you, from a profile you build once from your own résumé, and then stops. The last step, reading it over and pressing Submit, is always yours.

HOW YOU USE IT
- On an application, click the Apply Filler toolbar icon and choose "Show Apply Filler on this page". Nothing appears on any page until you do.
- A bubble offers to fill the fields it recognises. One tap fills them, outlined green (confident) or amber (check this one).
- Anything it is unsure about gets a small chip right next to the field, with the suggested answer as a button. It never silently picks between two plausible options.
- Answer a question yourself once and it offers to remember it for the next application.

WHAT IT WILL NEVER DO
- Submit an application, or click anything that would.
- Tick a certification ("I certify the above is true") or type into a signature box.
- Touch a password, payment or CAPTCHA field.
- Invent an answer. Every value comes from your profile or from an answer you saved. Where it does not know, it leaves the field blank and tells you.

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
- The profile lives in the add-on's own storage on your device, out of reach of the websites you visit.
- Or keep it only in a file on your own disk: the browser forgets it when it closes, and you open the file next time. Put that file in a Google Drive or OneDrive folder if you want it on another device.
- The add-on makes no network requests at all. There is no server and no account.

BUILDING YOUR PROFILE
- Paste your résumé into the Résumé tab and it reads your jobs, dates, schools and skills into a profile you can correct in an ordinary form.
- It can also write a résumé, a CV, a federal-style résumé and reference-request letters from the same profile.

WHERE IT WORKS
- Any website with an application form. It knows the quirks of NEOGOV / GovernmentJobs, Workday, PeopleSoft, iCIMS, Taleo, Greenhouse, Lever and others, and fills ordinary forms from their labels.
- Firefox on the desktop and Firefox for Android.

TELLING IT APART FROM THE WEBSITE
Everything Apply Filler draws has an amber edge: the panel, the corner button, the bubble and every chip. The open panel sits over a dimmed, blurred page and says it is not part of the website.

SWITCHING IT OFF
From the toolbar icon: hide it on this page, never show it on a site, or let it show by itself on any page with a form.
