The anon.li extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or telemetry. We do not use cookies, trackers, or any third-party analytics within the extension.

1. Authentication & API Keys
   To function, the extension requires an API key provided by the user. This key is stored locally in your browser's secure storage (browser.storage.local). It is used exclusively to authenticate your requests to the anon.li API for generating aliases and uploading files. This key is never shared with third parties.
2. Permissions
   The extension requests specific permissions to function:
   Storage: To save your API key locally.
   ContextMenus: To allow right-click alias generation.
   ActiveTab: To detect email fields for the smart form-fill feature.
   ClipboardWrite: To allow you to copy generated aliases or drop links instantly.
   Alarms: To manage session timeouts or background tasks.
3. Third-Party Services
   The extension only communicates with the official anon.li servers. No data is ever sent to any other third-party domain.
