What didn't work well? Have you tried to disable the other Firefox extensions you are using one by one except Turn Off the Lights.

What is bugged in the Turn Off the Lights Firefox extension? Do you use any other Firefox extensions in the background? Try to disable that one by one except Turn Off the Lights.
