TabSource is an in-browser audio manager/media matrix for Firefox modeled on SoundSource. Main Features • Route specific tabs: Dynamically route the audio stream from an specific tab (e.g. A streaming video, an music player) to any hardware sink connected to your computer (external speakers, a dac, headset, etc.) through the use of setSinkId • Transport control of media: Play, pause, mute, or seek through songs/tracks on any sound emitting tab directly from within the extension matrixpopup • Master Control: Mute or unmute all audio on every tab emitting sound through one single button. • Media Session Intercept: Get metadata from media in active tabs (title, artist) live and directly. It will not use network to make these requests-all audio processing happens completely on your system, nothing ever goes over the network.
