SocksNode Proxy keeps two things in your browser's local storage: one proxy
credential and one scoped API key, both created when you press Connect. Neither
is sent anywhere except socksnode.com.

While the proxy is switched on, your browsing is routed through the SocksNode
network, so the hostnames you visit reach our gateways. We do not inspect or
store the content of that traffic; usage accounting is limited to volume,
timestamps and location metadata. While it is switched off, nothing is routed.

The add-on runs one content script, on socksnode.com only, and solely to receive
the connection key when you press Connect. It reads no other page and injects
nothing.

The "Check" button asks a third-party address-lookup service which IP you appear
to be coming from. That request carries only the address you are already showing
every site you visit, and we neither receive nor store its result.

You can disconnect it at any time by revoking the key named "Browser extension"
under API keys in your dashboard.
