Rehead adds, changes or removes the HTTP headers of the requests your browser sends, grouped into profiles you switch on in one click. A header editor built for web developers, QA testers and API work.
Why Rehead
• Private by design: no account, no ads, no tracking, no analytics. Your headers and tokens stay on your device.
• Access only to the sites you choose: at install, Rehead cannot see any website. It asks for access site by site when you add a domain to a profile.
• Imports profiles exported from ModHeader (JSON), with a clear report of what was converted.
Free features
• Up to 3 profiles, one active at a time
• Request headers: set, append or remove, as many as you need
• Filters: target and excluded domains, initiating pages, resource types, HTTP methods, URL regular expressions
• Global pause switch and a counter of modified requests on the toolbar icon
• Live validation: invalid header names and values are flagged before anything is sent
• JSON import and export
Pro features
• Unlimited profiles, several active at once (the last one turned on wins)
• Response headers, for CORS testing or Content-Security-Policy work
• Profiles limited to a single tab
• Automatic turn-off after 15 minutes to 8 hours, handy for the Authorization header and cookies
Common uses: send a bearer token to your API, change the user agent to test a mobile site, API testing, switch Accept-Language, set feature flags or X-Forwarded-For, right next to your developer tools.
