Look up the civic and risk facts for any US ZIP code, city, or county — right from your toolbar.
Type a place and knowground shows three point-varying figures:
• FEMA flood exposure — the share of addresses in a FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area
• USGS ground elevation — the median elevation from the USGS 3DEP model
• FCC gigabit broadband — the share of the area where gigabit service is available
Every figure is shown next to its parent area — a ZIP compared to its county, a city or county compared to its state — so you can see how a place stands at a glance.
The data is drawn entirely from public US government open data: FEMA's National Flood Hazard Layer, the USGS 3DEP elevation model, and the FCC Broadband Data Collection. These are area summaries for information only — not an official flood determination, and not a guarantee for any individual address.
Private by design:
• No account, no sign-in
• No browser permissions — the install screen shows no warnings at all
• No cookies, no tracking, and no advertising inside the extension
