The little "Best Deal" notifications are helpful when I'm comparison shopping, BUT PLEASE REMOVE the enormous pop-up that covers up half of the page I'm trying to read if I accidentally mouse across the little "Best Deal" box. The pop-up contains no additional helpful information and does nothing but constantly get in my way and cover up what I'm trying to look at.

I've bought multiple things on multiple sites in different price ranges and did not get any discounts. It always says there is an unlikely chance of me getting a discount, search for 'codes' and then tell me that it found none with a corny joke. Maybe that's just bad luck for me since looking a the reviews many people have gotten discounts with this extension, but I haven't and that is I'm giving it this rating. I haven't seen anything bad with it and I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed.

- 評價 2 分,滿分 5 分來自 Firefox 使用者 16009735,3 年前I've rarely ever gotten a coupon with this add-on and it being closed source makes me keep it deactivated when not using it since it more than likely tracks and sells everything I do online. I get that they can't control what coupons are uploaded but at the very least, have some transparency since every day online privacy is becoming a more widely spoken issue.

- 評價 2 分,滿分 5 分來自 Firefox 使用者 16628552,3 年前I've had honey for a while. Havent had a code work yet but like the price drop. For the first time I added an item to price drop. I got an alert but deleted the email. Now a few days later changed my mind and want to buy it. It's a very specific headphone brand/model. I can't find the item anywhere. I want to buy it. I logged in on their site, looked at the extension. It's nowhere. On the site it says "Start my drop list" and it's gone. It also says it's only available in the US but I use amazon.ca and they sent me an email with a price drop. So it's a lie that it only works in the US. I spent a lot of time on this and I'm assuming the price drop works but because I'm not in the US I can't see history of price drops I saved to track. Which is really dumb. Price drop is a good feature but I'm never going to reply on this app for anything other than coupon codes. I'm not too happy. I always delete emails from deleted and my internet history is never saved so it's gone forever. If you're in Canada, keep this in mind.

I like the idea, but I had to disable it.
It was flooding Firefox Debug Console with the following:
00:36:19.687 Uncaught (in promise) Error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist.

As an extension developer myself, this is a big nuisance while I'm trying to get some work done. - 評價 2 分,滿分 5 分來自 Firefox 使用者 14463880,4 年前I have a pinned Amazon site for Chrome and for Firefox. I use Firefox as my default browser. In Chrome on Amazon the drop list banner is off to the side and it can be clicked on and moved. In Firefox the banner is directly on top of the pictures of the items, very annoying. To tell the truth Honey has not saved me any money in over two years of use, but I always liked to have installed. I will be removing it from Firefox until they fix this. Honey should realize that there is competition out there. I have Shop Savvy installed in Chrome but as of now it is not available for Firefox. I like it better than Honey because it searches other retailers rather than coupons for the best price.
- 評價 2 分,滿分 5 分來自 Murdock,4 年前I have tried Honey a few different times hoping it had improved. Also tried on two separate machines to see if the performance issue was machine specific.
Slows amazon.com down to the point of being nearly unusable at times. Uninstall, performance jumps back to normal immediately.
It doesn't ever provide any discount I can't find easily on my own (such as purchase from another seller on amazon) I suppose if you didn't want to be bothered to scroll down a bit this could be helpful...
There has also been at least two occasions that I found a cheaper price on Amazon.com than Honey did simply because I searched for the product and found it with a slightly different name that Honey didn't detect. It also has no ability to look outside the current site, so if there is a better deal on another site, you don't find it through Honey. - 評價 2 分,滿分 5 分來自 Firefox 使用者 16438219,4 年前Good for what it does. Annoying for the way it does it. A very irritating logo/button hovers over every Amazon page I look at, blocking out product details. Yes, I can "snooze" it on a page, but you have to do this for each and every page you visit, with no options, no way to set it's default location on the screen or to "snooze" on an entire site. I'm beginning to think this d*** app is more trouble than it is actually worth.
- 評價 2 分,滿分 5 分來自 matt wilkie,4 年前Using sporadically for a few weeks has only found a working discount once - for which I'm grateful. 3 stars for that. I guess I don't buy the kinds of things they track. -1 star because I can't turn it on while shopping and off the rest of the time (without going into extensions management).

Is it a great experience ? HELL NO.

This HONEY user experience could be built so much better.
1. STOP pinning the price change button to the first non-white OR non-transparent pixel in the preview image!!!. That stupid button blocks key portions of the image and turning the plugin off and on is a serious hassle!!!
-- Why not use the top corner of the browser instead..you know..OUT OF THE WAY PERHAPS!? duh.
2. The coupon list feature and process is so basic and blundered that I feel like this was made by a kid.;
A. Allow us to select which to try from the list (to save time and so we can ensure we're getting the best deal because the Honey Algorithms do F*CK up at times.
Nothing is worse than waiting 4 minutes for Honey to run through a dozen coupon codes that we know won't work... let us customize the selection set of codes that will be processed/attempted! duh.. This would be a preference selection for people with brains to use.
B. After the list is processed, provide details on what the code did. - Example:
• HOLIDAYS20 : -$8 on your order
• FlannelTopA : $0 / NULL
• SantaSled : FREE SHIPPING
3. The Code List provided has generic labels for products.. Example for Amazon; when you see the list of codes, it says "Save 40% on letter changeable boards" ... YOU SHOULD LINK IT TO BOARDS FOR WHICH THE SYSTEM KNOWS THE COUPON WORKS !! -- I searched that item and tried 3 different items of that type before frustration caused me to give up.

- 評價 2 分,滿分 5 分來自 Generic User 6 without the 9,4 年前The app works, sort of. When using Honey on websites like papajohns, it'll apply a bunch of different codes, then be stuck on a pure white screen. I'm not sure if it worked there. On Ebay, it doesn't seem to even allow you to try different coupon codes, as clicking the icon brings up a menu that I guess allows you to 'follow' ebay, whatever that means, something about .1-2% rewards, which I don't understand, and a link to find out what kind of shopper I am.
Not sure if this pluggin works, but it does something, I guess.
(It has saved me $5 from ordering online from papajohns) - 評價 2 分,滿分 5 分來自 FeynGirl42,4 年前I know the rest of the world loves this but it seldom saves me more than an almost insulting $.01 What's worse is after Honey tries (and usually fails) with their codes I can generally find something better in under a minute on RetailMeNot or other similar sites. I fear Honey may give people a false sense of security by assuring them all valid codes have been tried when in reality a little more effort will yield bigger savings. I'll keep it on my browser and see if it improves but so far you can color me unimpressed.
