Glidescroll 作者: Starship
Tame Firefox's too-fast middle-click autoscroll with a gentle, adjustable version — speed grows smoothly with how far you move the mouse. Also smooths and rescales normal mouse-wheel scrolling. No data collected, no accounts, works on every page.

關於此擴充套件
Firefox's built-in middle-click autoscroll has one fixed, very fast speed — move the mouse a few millimeters and the page flies past. Glidescroll replaces it with a gentle version you control, and can smooth the normal mouse wheel too.
Middle-click autoscroll
- Speed grows with distance: nudge slightly for a slow crawl, push further to accelerate and then hold a steady pace at that position.
- Two modes, just like Firefox: hold-and-drag to scroll while held, or a quick click for hands-free "sticky" scrolling until you click again.
- Tune the dead zone, minimum/maximum speed, acceleration curve, and full-speed distance.
- The pointer stays a normal arrow, and no indicator popup appears unless you turn one on.
Mouse-wheel scrolling
- Optional smoothing and speed control for the regular wheel.
- Honors your OS "lines per notch" setting, and Ctrl+wheel zoom is never intercepted.
- Pages that handle the wheel themselves (maps, code editors) are left untouched.
Privacy
- No data collected, no network requests, no accounts. The only permission is local storage, used solely to save your settings on your own machine.
Open the add-on's preferences to adjust everything — changes apply instantly.
