Fuzzy Tab Switcher ("the Extension") is designed to prioritize user privacy. The Extension operates entirely locally on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or browsing history to external servers.

2. Data Collection and Usage

Tab Information

• What: The Extension accesses the titles, URLs, and favicons of your open tabs.
• Why: This information is STRICTLY used to index and display your open tabs within the Extension's search interface, allowing you to search and switch between them.
• Privacy: This data is processed only in your computer's memory (RAM) while the Extension is active. It is never sent to the developer, third-party analytics services, or any external server.

Storage (browser.storage.local)

• What: The Extension stores user preferences (e.g., theme settings) and a local history of tab access times.
• Why:
• To persist your configuration (Light/Dark mode).
• To enable the "Quick Switch" feature (switching to the previously active tab) and to sort search results by "Most Recently Used" (MRU).
• Privacy: This data is stored locally in your browser profile. It remains on your device and is not accessible to anyone else.

3. Third-Party Services

The Extension does not use any third-party tracking tools, analytics, or advertising networks.

4. Permissions

• tabs: Required to list your open tabs for the search functionality.
• storage: Required to save your settings locally.
