來自 Firefox 使用者 14779228，7 年前I like Ebates, but this browser add-on is too overreaching. I don't need non-disappearing pop-ups on every merchant site I visit advertising the cash-back rate. Nor do I need to see cash-back offers in search results (I cannot believe this is touted as a feature). There is, apparently, no way to turn either of these features off? I'll still use the site, but this add-on is spam.
April 28 update: This response is telling. The button is an "R." I don't want activation hover on any site - is your solution to create a whitelist that covers all Ebates/Rakuten merchants? And there is no "Do not display Product Search Recommendations" option in the settings - https://s.put.re/FNnXcqat.png

張貼於 7 年前We definitely want the Button to be helpful, not a nuisance. Here’s how to disable the pop-up reminders and search recommendations:
1. Click on the Cash Back Button icon (the “E”).
2. Click on “Settings” at the bottom of the drop-down that appears.
3. To hide the Activate Cash Back reminders, check the box for “Do not display Activation Hover on these sites.”
4. Enter the URLs of sites you don’t want reminders for. When you’re done, click "Save.”
5. You may also check the box "Do not display Product Search Recommendations"

- 評價 1 分，滿分 5 分來自 Firefox 使用者 18488372，1 個月前Installed and two out of two purchases did not track. Simply doesn't work. Contacted Rakuten and received the generic "we will reach out" response. Hard to believe there is something worse than their normal tracking. So not only is this add on extremely intrusive with pop ups it doesn't work.
Reply to developer response: How exactly will you "review this" other than to say we'll reach out to the merchant and if they didn't track it then it is the users fault? Fact is there are better cash back sites that actually have relationships with merchants rather than Rakuten's "oh well, it's your fault" response. 開發者回應
張貼於 3 個月前You can get our extension back up and running by uninstalling it from your copy of Firefox (if installed). Then, you can download our Rakuten Browser Extension from our website, Rakuten.com, or through Firefox Browser Add-Ons page. I've literally lost hundreds of dollars since this app doesn't work. I've been promised money back, I click on what needs to be done, it's confirmed and NOTHING. It's a scam.

張貼於 9 個月前If you see you are making Shopping Trips and our extension is activating, then it may be some internet traffic filtering service or VPN is active or an issue with the merchant recognizing the order as eligible for Cash Back through us. - 評價 1 分，滿分 5 分來自 Firefox 使用者 16471973，10 個月前It said 20%. I used this as opposed to a promo with another website for vitamins. I got zilch. Nothing whatsoever after it popped up showing me 20%. Completed order.
