關於此擴充套件
CreatorBlock shows you who appears in a YouTube video before you click play.
The community tags which creators/guests show up in a video. Once a video has been tagged, everyone sees small badges right on the thumbnail: in search results, the sidebar, subscriptions, channel pages, and playlists.
You decide what each creator means to you:
Like — highlight videos featuring them
Warn — show a caution badge but don't hide anything
Dim — fade the thumbnail so it's easy to skip past
Hide — remove the thumbnail entirely
Tagging a creator in a video and adding them to your personal filters are two separate steps — tagging just helps the community, your filters are managed from the toolbar popup ("My Filters").
Creators can verify ownership of their own channel (via a code in their video description) to confirm tags on their own videos.
Privacy: CreatorBlock never sends YouTube video IDs to the server — only a short hash prefix, so the server can't reconstruct which video you're watching. There are no accounts; each device has an anonymous ID that's only ever sent as a salted hash.
