We block malware, trackers, and ads at the network level. However, there is one detail: I do not fight against all ads, nor do I think it is necessary. Content needs a source of revenue to remain free, and fighting all ads simply because they are ads makes no logical sense. I do not fight against ads that meet the following standards:

The ad does not cover the content.

The owner of the ad platform does not provide financial or technological support for activities intended to cause harm.

Malware is not distributed, and fraud is not committed through the ads.

The ad is not intended to deceive any person.


NOTE: Negligence can be considered a violation. Furthermore, since tracking and advertising are intertwined in some ad networks, blocking trackers may cause ads to stop working. This is the fault of the advertising company, and they can resolve this issue by not making ads dependent on trackers.

Even though the International Criminal Court considers the events in Gaza a war crime, some advertising companies partner with Israel, and websites may unfortunately be serving these ads without being aware of the situation.
