關於此擴充套件
Job listings say "Remote", then the description asks for three days a week in the office. Actually Remote reads the posting for you.
Open a job on LinkedIn, Indeed or Glassdoor and a small panel shows:
• Work mode first: remote, hybrid or on-site, based on what the description actually says. If the listing and the description disagree, you'll see a clear warning, plus office days and location limits like "US only" or "within 50 miles".
• Up to 3 reasons the job fits your resume.
• Up to 3 gaps: requirements your resume doesn't show.
Every point quotes the posting, so you can check it. Quotes that can't be found on the page are marked unverified.
Set it up once: paste your resume and choose your work mode (remote only, remote or hybrid, or any). Your resume stays in your browser and is sent only when you open a job posting. Analysis is done by Anthropic's Claude.
Free to use, with a daily limit of 50 job analyses.

What stays in your browser
Your resume, your preferences (work mode, location and notes) and a random install id are saved in your browser's extension storage. Removing the extension deletes them.
What is sent, and when
Only when you open a job posting on a supported site, the extension sends these to the Actually Remote server:
the job's title, company, location tags and description, as shown on the page;
your resume and preferences;
the random install id.
The extension doesn't read other pages, your browsing history, or anything on job sites besides the posting you open.
How it is used
The server passes the job, resume and preferences to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the analysis, and returns the result to your browser. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API data isn't used to train its models. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
The server doesn't store your resume, preferences or the analysis. Its logs record the job title, company, text lengths and your work-mode preference for troubleshooting, and are kept for a short time by our host, Vercel.
To enforce daily usage limits, the server counts requests per install id and per IP address. The IP address is stored only as a one-way hash, and the counters are deleted after about a day.
What we don't do
We don't sell or share your data, show ads, or use it for anything other than the analysis you asked for.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. For questions or deletion requests, use the support email on the Actually Remote listing in the Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons or the Mac App Store.
