xNotes pins your own private notes directly onto X profiles. Open a profile, see your note. Hover a handle anywhere, see your note. That's it — no accounts, no cloud, no tracking.

WHY IT STICKS

FOLLOWS PEOPLE, NOT USERNAMES
X handles change constantly. xNotes pins each note to the account's stable user ID, so when @theo becomes @theo99 your note moves with them — and shows a "formerly @theo" marker so you know what happened. If a handle gets taken over by someone else, your old note stays hidden instead of leaking onto a stranger's page.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
Everything is stored locally in your browser by default. Optional sync sends an end-to-end encrypted copy (AES-256-GCM) to your own WebDAV or S3 storage — your server, your keys. Your passphrase is never stored anywhere.
