The extension reads the URL of the active tab only when a scan is triggered by the user or when the extension performs a security check. The URL is then securely sent to our backend analysis service over HTTPS to evaluate potential threats.
The extension does not collect or store full browsing history. URL data is used strictly for security analysis purposes and is not used for advertising, tracking, or profiling users.
Permissions such as tabs and activeTab are required only to read the current page URL for scanning and to display security analysis results within the extension interface.
