GridGhost is a layout-inspection add-on made for frontend developers and UI reviewers who need immediate visual alignment checks on live pages. It injects a configurable, non-interactive grid overlay directly in the active tab so spacing and column rhythm can be verified without opening external design tools.
Unlike simple screenshot rulers, GridGhost works in the real rendered context with current viewport width, responsive breakpoints, and actual browser zoom behavior. The overlay updates instantly when you change columns, gutter width, opacity, or color from the popup.
