GitHubCircle Privacy Policy

GitHubCircle is a client-side browser extension with no custom backend servers, no analytics, no telemetry, and no third-party tracking. All data processing happens locally within your browser, communicating directly with official GitHub APIs (https://api.github.com).

Data Access & Storage:
- Authentication Data: GitHub OAuth access token obtained via official GitHub OAuth Device Flow (scope:read:user).
- Profile & Relationship Data: Your GitHub username, your followers/following lists, and public follower lists of viewed profiles.
- Storage: All tokens, settings, and relationship caches are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (browser.storage.local).

Data Control:
- Logging out or uninstalling the extension immediately deletes all local data and tokens.
